From Make and Takes comes a great hands-on science lesson with your kids on a no school day because of the snow. Being in California, we haven’t had a snow day in a REALLY long time…the kids would LOVE it! 🙂
You will need a notebook, pencil or pen, little bowls and a big bowl, spoons, tape to label the bowls, and anything else that would help you figure out what snow is all about. Check the Make and Takes‘ website for the rest!
Run with the idea…put a dish in the freezer and then catch falling snow on it. Look at the melting snow flakes with a magnifying glass…and anything else you can think of! Have fun!
